This was an advertisment created as a student project for the Mountain Equipment Co-op—a Canadian retail chain that sells outdoor recreation gear and clothing. Our goal for this project was to produce several types of hand rendered textures using various forms of materials and techniques (e.g smearing paint on illustration boards, using plastic wrap to apply paint, etc.) Then we were to scan the textures and use them in a promotinal piece of our choosing.
